The many benefits of cupping therapy

Cupping therapy increases local blood pressure and lymph circulation, relives muscles tensions, improves overall blood flow, loosen fascia and promote cell repair. It also helps resolve swelling and pain. With so many benefits, it’s only natural cupping therapy has grown so popular over the past years as an effective alternative and all natural healing therapy.

Therapeutic cupping is very popular in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) to help circulate blood and lymph, relax muscles and strengthen the immune system. By increasing blood and lymph circulation and drawing ‘’impurities’’ to the surface, cupping therapy promotes the removal of toxins from the body and therefore helps the body’s natural healing process.

They are ideal for relieving back muscle pain due to a poor work posture or sport injury. They are also very effective in relieving heavy legs and, when used regularly, can help reduce the appearance of cellulite!

Sounds great but will you bruise? Therapeutic cupping does not necessarily leave large purple marks. Although they are also part of the healing process, these marks are not a guarantee of effectiveness and certainly not necessary. Therapeutic cupping is generally not painful and its benefits can last several days -or even completely resolve for good certain muscle tensions!

Those who follow my instagram account (link below) know how much I love them on the face to relieve jaw tensions and recurring tension headaches! They improve skin elasticity and plumpness while removing toxins and improving blood circulation, giving you a beautiful healthy looking glow.

With so many benefits, it is not for nothing that they are offered in all my treatments. Yes! Cupping can be part of general and facial acupuncture, acupressure massage and facial fascia massage!

Have you tried them yet? Now is the time to take advantage of them before your insurance is renewed at the end of December :)
